Home Missions (R.O.C. Ministry)

Reaching Our Community. Led by Minister DuWanna Jackson, the R.O.C. Ministry seeks to actively serve our community according to scripture in Matthew 25:35-40 by partnering with local and national corporations to provide weekly food distribution services to homeless, widows, and needy families in our community. The R.O.C. also keeps a fully stocked pantry for assisting families and individuals in need of food for their home.

Through monetary, and in-kind donations, the R.O.C. Ministry is able to offer not only food assistance in the community on a weekly basis, but also provides annual Christmas and Thanksgiving outreaches to the community where over 1,000 people each year are blessed with Thanksgiving Meals, Christmas gifts for children, and above all the message of the Hope and Love offered by Christ.

Besides food assistance, the R.O.C. also partners with individuals and corporations to provide clothing for people with all sorts of needs, from fire victims, to foster care children, school uniforms, and ex-offenders who are trying to make a fresh start in a positive direction with their lives. We also provide through our resource network, substance abuse education & rehabilitation, medical assistance, shelter, continuing education, and job training.
