Children's Ministry

nursery (0-5)

The nurseries of Revival Tabernacle are offered for all three weekly services. Activities, snacks and Bible lessons along with praise & worship music, animated DVD's and well decorated rooms will help to create a playful, friendly environment for all children from birth to 5 years old.

22six (5-11)

The vision of 226 Children's Ministries will be to provide an exciting, captivating, Christ-centered education in a safe and friendly environment for children from birth to 6th grade. To achieve this, certain components are strongly emphasized.

22six children's church provides the following elements to our children:

  • sound, biblical curriculum for all ages
  • a fun, interactive, lessons and/or activities for all grades
  • consistent, weekly relationship building between staff and children
  • training of jr. workers to actively serve in children's ministry, developing their talents and gifts
  • developing and maintaining a strong promotion program of out-going 6th grade students into Hyper Definition Student Ministries
  • maintaining a strong mission's emphasis through initiatives such as Power Company Kids Club, BGMC, Compassion International (missions child sponsorship) school assemblies and various annual community outreaches (Christmas toy giveaway, back-To-School Backpack Giveaway, City-wide Easter Egg Hunt, etc.)

Power company kids club

Power Company Kids Club is committed to reaching out to the underprivileged children of our inner cities. Multitudes of urban children are the victims of poverty, lacking even the most basic nutritional and material needs. Vast numbers of children, due to circumstances beyond their control, receive an inadequate education. We believe these precious children deserve a chance to have a better life.

Every week, children are transported to The Power Company Kids Club with a fleet of buses. For ninety minutes, children participate in action packed songs, Nickelodeon-style games, and a time of intense directional teaching. The positive message given is focused on developing a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ, staying in school, saying "no" to drugs, and eliminating racism and violence.

The children not only hear the gospel and have the opportunity to trust in Jesus, we continually work at integrating them into Bible believing churches.
